Congrats to Clear Albums Calendar Challenge Finalist Michelle K. McGee!
Michelle submitted this fabulous, creative, perpetual calendar that she calls "Circle Days". This calendar is an erasable weekly clear calendar, with hints of shimmer and shine, and lots of style! It was created using a circle shaped clear album by Clear Scraps. Because the calendar can be erased and re-used, it can be used throughout 2009 and for years to come afterwards! This reusable calendar is not only beautiful but it is also environmentally responsible and very eco-friendly! We just love this idea and we hope it will inspire you as much as it has inspired us! Thanks for sharing, Michelle. We really appreciate your entry in the clear albums calendar challenge.
Supplies Michelle Used To Create This Calendar:
- Album: Clear Scraps 6 inch Circle Album
- Mist: Glimmer Mist (Honey Dew, Winter Pine, Silver Bells, Wild Currant.)
- Rub Ons: Creative Imaginations (Art Warehouse Danelle Johnson)
- Ribbon: Sari
- Cardstock: American Crafts
"These circles tell us what's going on day to day in our family week. Dry erase markers are used on the acrylic circles and are easily changed week to week. The acrylic pages were sprayed with Glimmer Mist on the backs, then white circles of cardstock were tied to the acrylic circles, (after rub ons were applied to the cardstock.) The circles are hung by magnets on a magnetic board, (by IKEA, but could be attached to a fridge.) "
Michelle, That is a brilliant idea. I’ve really been wanting to try that glimmer mist.
Brilliant!! What a fantastic idea!!
looks fabulous!!! great idea!!
Michelle I love the idea about the glimmer mist! I love your out of the Box idea on doing this M- F! Awesome!
Thanks everyone… this is REALLY easy to make!!!
The Glimmer Mist sticks perfectly to the acrylic and it’s sprayed on the back.
The white paper on the back is tied to the acrylic, but not adhered.
Try one! It’s fun!
