We’d Like To Introduce You To the Clear Albums Design Team! These are the designers who have created the project ideas for finished clear albums that you see on this web site. These ladies have designed some amazing, creative clear albums to inspire you, and they have also made supply lists and complete project instructions available too. Click here to see the free project ideas they have posted.
Amy Solovay is a professional artist / designer from Santa Barbara, California. Her favorite clear albums are manufactured by Clear Scraps. Amy created a clear acrylic and chipboard mini album called “Bits & Pieces” using the brand new Clear N Chip product line by Clear Scraps, which is new for 2009. She has also created this fancy scalloped 2009 calendar for the Clear Albums Calendar Challenge. Another one of her favorite projects is the clear acrylic postcard holder album she created using a Clear Scraps tabbed book. In her San Felipe Mini Book, she combines Clear Scraps acrylic coasters with glitter, ribbon, and dirt biking photos. (Yep, you read that right- an unusual combination, but we think she managed to make it work.) One of her more innovative ideas is combining crochet, clear albums and scrapbooking, which she demonstrates in her circle shaped clear album called “Seattle Cityscapes”. You can click here to see her Tropical Hawaiian themed tabbed mini book; or you can click here to see her snowflake shaped, winter- themed mini book.
Cathy Schellenberg is also a huge Clear Scraps fan. You can click here to see her adorable “Car Games” clear mini album, or click here to see her super-cute dog bone shaped clear album, which she created to document her family’s puppy, Bean. Cathy has designed several other clear acrylic albums using Clear Scraps products that will be posted on this web site very soon! We hope you will check back to see them.
Christi Wright loves clear albums by Rusty Pickle and Midnight Oil. Christi played along with us on the Clear Albums Calendar Challenge. She created this lovely mini tag shaped clear album called “This Is My Gift”.
Jodi Ethington is a talented designer from Mesa, AZ. Jodi says that Prima Build-a-Book clear albums are her favorite, because she loves the freedom of being able to customize each page with a shape that coordinates. She has also enjoyed working with Rusty Pickle acrylic albums too. You can click here to view her charming Prima Build-a-book clear album called “I Love”.
Mel Nunn is a prolific Australian designer who also designs for American Crafts. Mel enjoys working with clear albums by Pageframe Designs. You can click here to see the school diary she created for her daughter Lily (including project instructions and free digital downloads for the calendar templates so that you can make your own album just like hers); or you can click here to see her adorable “Year of 4″ clear mini album.
La Tonya Boike loves clear albums by Pageframe Designs. She also enjoys cutting her own acrylic albums. Her work is not yet available for viewing on the web site, but we hope to be posting it soon.
