Christi decided to take a creative approach to this challenge. Rather than doing a traditional calendar, she decided to create a time table overview of her son's life from his birth until the present time. We hope you will be inspired by her fresh and innovative take on this challenge. We encourage you to come up with your own creative interpretations, too!

I inked all of tag edges to add dimension! This also helps the pages stand out!

Front Cover Directions:

I inked up Stampin’ Up stamp with ink and stamped image on to front cover. I added the chipboard word “gift” to inked tag cover. I then used my Big Bite and determined where to punch a hole for my brad and punched the hole on 3/16” measurement. I then added “this” rub on to album and then I added mini alphas. I added the flourish to the top left of the cover. To finish it off I attached flowers together with black brad and attached it on to the flourish.

Page 1:

Page 1 Instructions:

I corner rounded the patterned paper and attached it to the album page. I used a wonderful technique on the photo to add dimension to the photograph. Here is how I did it. I printed 2 photos that were the same. I used my Cutterbee Precision scissors to cut out the picture. I then Used Dimensional Glue Dots and added it directly to the duplicate picture. I then stapled a piece of ribbon onto photograph. I then added the button with a glue dot and then added the Rub on.

Page 2 of this mini album is a Maya Road Calendar Sheer. I added this as a common tag through the album just to add a little bit of funkiness to the album. It adds interest, besides; they are an awesome product to work with in Mini Albums!

Pages 3-4: Journaling

Supplies for pages 3, 4, and 7:

• Cardstock: Bazzill
• Font: Bradley Hand ITC

Pages 3 - 4 Instructions:

I printed out journaling onto cardstock. I inked the edges of cardstock; I adhered patterned paper to album page and then adhered journaling piece to page. I then added Chatterbox Jewel to the edge to anchor the journaling to the page.

Page 5:

Page 5 is a Maya Road Calendar Sheer. I just added information with pen and punched out the correct information.

I inked patterned paper. I then added photograph. I added buttons as a photo corner. I stamped label image onto photograph. I then added Rub on’s and mini alpha’s to album page. I attached brad to flower. I then added ribbon to photograph. Finally, I added flower to album page.

This journaling page was completed using the same supplies and techniques used for pages 3-4.

Page 9 Instructions:

I inked patterned paper. I adhered it to the page. I then stapled ribbon onto photograph. I then added jewel to the ribbon. I then added circle to my sons face in the photograph because he was blowing a kiss. I was adding interest to the page. I then added rub on’s and mini alpha’s to the page. I adhered ribbon to album page and then to anchor the photo I added the epoxy sticker. Do you notice the visual triangles on the page? The circle jewel is the middle of the 2 visual triangles. Just an interesting part of designing to add to your page.

Page 10 Instructions:

I inked patterned papers and adhered them to page. I then attached picture to page. I then added the mini alphas and rub on’s. I then attached acrylic flower to page for added interest. I used ribbon in 2 mini strips as a photo corner at the bottom right of the photograph. I then added epoxy sticker to ribbon photo corner to anchor the photograph to the page.

Page 12 Instructions:

I inked patterned paper and adhered it to page. I then added ribbon to page. I then added ribbon to page by stapling it to the picture. I then added epoxy sticker to picture. Next I added photo to page. I then adhered rub on’s and mini alphas to photograph and page. I then threaded the ribbon through button and tied in knot. I then used glue dot to adhere it to the page.

I attached photograph to page. I placed mini alphas onto photograph. I then adhered rub on’s to picture and page. I cut 2 strips of the gingham ribbon and again used them as photo corners for the picture. I then added the button to the photograph to anchor the photograph to the page.

I inked patterned paper and attached it to page. I then added picture to page. I then adhered rub on’s to photograph. I then added stickers to photograph. I cut a small piece of ribbon to add flow to the page. I then adhered button onto picture with glue dot. I pushed brad though flower and attached it at the back. I then added the flower element to the button.
